For Oswestry Show 
On the Saturday 3rd of August, the 137th Oswestry Show will be back bringing together more than 120 trade stands and a large variety of displays and activities to the town, all with the aim of promoting Agriculture and Rural Ideas.
Our main sponsor this year will be JT Hughes Group who are a well known car dealership covering Shropshire and Mid-Wales. There’s an action packed schedule of events throughout the day with main ring entertainment from Ollie’s Equestrian Display Team plus many more!
Elsewhere the Village Green will have lots going on to keep visitors entertained from Gymnastics and Cheerleading, so ‘pom poms’ at the ready!
The Show boasts a large horse section from Shetland Ponies right through the breeds to Heavy Horses and Retrained Racehorses.
In the Livestock Area there will be a large selection of Cattle, this year we are hosting the Welsh National Charolais Cattle Society Show which is sure to show case their breed along with the usual Sheep, Pigs and Rare Breeds sections and the ever-popular Sheep Shearing competition which this year forms part of the 2024 Welsh Lamb Shearing Circuit. There is also a Small Livestock Section which includes Rabbits, Cavies & Pigeons.
Also included at the show is a Vintage Section with Cars, Motorbikes and Tractors; W I and Young Farmers. This year sees the return of the new extended Horticultural Marquee to showcase the best of Oswestry and surrounding area has to offer together with Craft, Business, Shopping and Food Marquees.
