Can I bring my dog to the show?
Yes – dogs are welcome at the Show as long as they are kept on a lead at all times. Please note that dogs are not allowed in any livestock areas or inside the food marquees.
What time do the gates open?
The show gates open from 8.30 am.
Is there car parking available?
Yes, there is free parking for visitors travelling by car. Please follow the AA signs on the day to be directed to the nearest available car park.
Is there a Park & Ride service?
Yes! Our Park & Ride service runs every half hour from the Smithfield Market (where parking is free), and now also from the Park Gates in Oswestry Town Centre. Click here for full details.
Are there cash facilities on site?
There is no cash machine on the showground, but cashback is available at the Secretary’s Office for a fee of £1.50 per transaction.
Are there baby changing facilities?
Yes, baby changing facilities are available in the foyer of the main Show Pavilion (accessible through the main front doors off the members disabled car park) and in the accessible toilet in Whittington Pavilion.
What facilities are there for disabled visitors?
Do carers need a ticket?
Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Personal Independence Payments (PIP) letter
Attendance Allowance or Carer’s Allowance award letter
- Incapacity Benefit book or confirmation letter
Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI) or BD8
